Caterina Glenn

Director - HR and Non-Qualified Finance Teams

Caterina (Cat) joined Wade Macdonald as a Senior Manager in April 2018 and, following several promotions, has advanced to Director. Cat specialises in senior permanent recruitment within the Human Resources division and leads this area along with the non-qualified finance division. Her team works across both Human Resources and non-qualified finance, handling roles on both permanent and interim bases.

Cat began her recruitment career in 1996, swiftly moving into management roles within a corporate organisation. Afterward, she spent 12 years with an independent business, collaborating with the Managing Director to expand the organisation and mentor new team members. Before joining Wade Macdonald, she focused on recruiting finance professionals across the interim market in Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire, later extending her expertise to permanent recruitment. Since joining Wade Macdonald, Cat has contributed to both interim and permanent recruitment within accounting and, in 2020, took on leadership of the HR division, managing permanent recruitment in this field.

Cat is driven to see people succeed and progress in their careers at Wade Macdonald. She is deeply passionate about recruitment, viewing it as a chance to shape and support individuals at every career stage, from newcomers to seasoned professionals. Actively involved in recruitment, Cat also leads in training and mentoring, making her a trusted advisor and a go-to source for guidance.

Outside of work, Cat values time with family and friends. She keeps in daily contact with her brother, who lives in Australia, and often enjoys lunch, coffee, dinners, or drinks with her friends. She also enjoys reading and gardening and is planning to resume her swimming routine soon.
