About the Job

As the Transactional Accounting Manager, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of financial transactions across multiple European entities. You will lead a dedicated team, manage accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and expense functions, and support critical financial decisions. Your responsibilities will include maintaining compliance and optimising financial resources.

Duties will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and setting performance goals for the transactional finance team.
  • Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense processing to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
  • Monitoring cash flow and liquidity, managing banking administration, and ensuring optimal resource management.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining internal controls, and supporting external audits.
  • Preparing financial reports and providing insights to senior management.
  • Identifying process improvements and driving automation within transactional finance.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with over 10 years of experience in transactional finance. They will have strong knowledge of financial systems and regulations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in SAP BPC, Dynamics 365 Finance, and advanced Microsoft Office skills is preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
