Job Title: Assistant Accountant (Part-Time)

About the Job:
This part-time role (3 or 4 days per week) offers a unique opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to join a growing finance team. Working closely with the Management Accountant and Finance Director, you will play a key role in developing financial and production accounting processes, ensuring best practices across the business.
 
Duties will include:
  • Managing data within Xero, Zudello, and Cin7Core.
  • Maintaining financial policies and capital purchases.
  • Accurate reporting of inter-company transactions and accounts receivable.
  • Overseeing the Fixed Assets register and ensuring accurate accounting for fixed asset categories.
  • Collaborating on stock reporting for the P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Handling cashflow forecasting, month-end processes, and payroll accounting.
  • Supporting procurement processes and contributing to the creation of bespoke products.
About the Successful Applicant:
The ideal candidate will be AAT Level 4 qualified or studying towards it, with at least 2 years of experience in an accounts department. Proficiency in Xero and Cin7Core ERP systems, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. You should be well-organised, methodical, and possess a keen attention to detail. Own transport is required due to the rural location.
