Management Accountant - £30,000 to £40,000

Role Overview:
A hands-on role that supports the production of management accounts for the business. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the financial health of the organisation, with responsibilities across the monthly accounting cycle.
Key Duties:
- Prepare working papers and post journals for monthly accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and update the Fixed Asset Register, including catering equipment and company vehicles.
- Submit statutory surveys and data
- Reconcile nominal accounts, including revenue streams and supplier invoices.
- Analytical work and financial planning
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 5 years' experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role,
- Minimum AAT qualification, with a solid understanding of double-entry accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to handle financial data effectively.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero or QuickBooks) is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commercial mindset to support business growth and profitability.
