About the Job
The Management Accountant will play a key role within the finance team, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis. This position offers a chance to contribute to process improvement and build strong relationships across the business.
Duties will include:
- Leading month-end processes, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are well-documented.
- Analysing financial performance and preparing commentary for management.
- Maintaining accurate cost centre data and forecasts.
- Preparing and posting journals to support financial records.
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and monitoring spending across departments.
- Ensuring compliance with reporting regulations and relevant standards.
- Collaborating with other finance teams to support data consistency and insight sharing.
- Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
About the Successful Applicant
You will be a finalist or fully qualified CIMA/ACCA professional with relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems is essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving will set you apart.
