Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Thame (Office-based)
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in producing monthly management accounts, handling sales commission reports, and collaborating with budget holders. You will support the annual budgeting process and assist with statutory accounts preparation. The role also includes business partnering, sales reporting, and handling tax and audit matters.
Duties will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and sales commission reports
- Producing month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Analysing profit and loss (P&L) accounts and reconciling balance sheets
- Preparing monthly variance commentaries in line with the month-end timetable
- Providing financial analysis and support for budgeting and forecasting
- Assisting with year-end statutory accounts and tax computations
- Supporting auditors and resolving queries promptly
- Assisting various finance functions (Accounts Payable, Receivable, Sales Admin)
About the Successful Applicant:
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, with previous experience in a management accounting role. Strong Excel skills, solid understanding of accounting systems, and excellent communication abilities are essential. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong numerical and interpersonal skills.
