About the Job:

We are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This role is integral in managing and consolidating financial information for UK and European subsidiaries, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting schedules for UK and European subsidiaries.
  • Monthly consolidation of European companies across multiple divisions for both local and group reporting.
  • Preparing monthly reporting packs and reconciling various balance sheet and expense accounts for Group reporting.
  • Overseeing the preparation of monthly project costing recharges and budget comparisons with variance analysis.
  • Preparing weekly cashflows for subsidiaries and consolidation at the European level.
  • Handling VAT and intrastate reporting.
  • Compiling budget information and creating local and regional budgets.
  • Assisting in the annual audit process.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial internal controls and policies.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements, including creating standard and ad-hoc reports.

About the Successful Applicant:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with at least 3 years of experience in management accounts. They should possess strong analytical and Excel skills, a detailed understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS, and excellent communication abilities. Flexibility and the ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment are also essential.
