Location: Office-Based (Didcot)
Salary: £400 - £500 per day umbrella company rate

About the Job
This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting business growth through strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance and efficiency.
Duties will include:
- Managing finance operations, including payroll, invoicing, and transactions.
- Preparing UK management accounts and group consolidated accounts.
- Leading month-end meetings and analysing financial variances.
- Managing audits and liaising with external providers.
- Preparing R&D tax credit claims for external review.
- Supporting the Assistant Management Accountant and ensuring month-end reconciliations.
- Preparing annual budgets and contributing to financial strategy.
- Supporting business growth, coordinating debt, taxation, and assisting with equity and acquisitions.
- Ensuring strong financial systems and processes.
- Monitoring and managing the group share options scheme and issued share capital.
About the Successful Applicant
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience in financial management, reporting, and strategic decision-making. A proven track record in budgeting, audit processes, and working within a growing business is essential. You will have excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support change and drive financial performance.
