About the Job:
As the Group Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in preparing and analysing the group’s financial performance. This includes leading the consolidation of cash flow statements, conducting impairment reviews, and providing expert technical accounting advice. You will collaborate closely with senior finance colleagues and interact with various teams to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive group impairment and going concern analyses, along with supporting disclosures.
- Conduct technical accounting analysis under IFRS for emerging financial matters within the group.
- Manage the consolidation of group cash flow statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
- Prepare and review financial data for external disclosures, including results announcements.
- Collaborate with auditors on complex accounting topics and financial statement disclosures.
- Provide support on ad-hoc reporting, particularly relating to cash flow and balance sheet analysis.
- Contribute to ongoing group financial reporting projects and improvements.
About the Successful Applicant:
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally within a listed company. You should have advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with SAP and Workiva is beneficial.
