About the Job
An exciting opportunity for an experienced SME Financial Controller / Manager to take ownership of core financial operations and reporting processes within a high-performing finance function. This role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy of financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting senior leadership with strategic financial insight.
Duties will include:

Overseeing all accounting activities, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting and revenue recognition

Leading the month-end close process and ensuring timely financial reporting

Managing general ledger accuracy in alignment with both group policies and local statutory requirements

Coordinating audits and handling tax, VAT, payroll, and ISO internal audit processes

Monitoring cash flow, overseeing financial ratios and performance analytics

Ensuring adherence to IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 15 and IFRS 16, with responsibility for revenue audits and key compliance submissions

Supporting forecast updates, variance analysis, and reporting to group-level stakeholders

Providing insight on pipeline analysis, commission reporting, and margin performance against forecast
About the Successful Applicant
You will hold a recognised accounting qualification (CPA or ACCA) and have a background in audit, combined with experience in financial controller roles. A solid grasp of IFRS reporting is essential, alongside strong systems knowledge, ideally with exposure to NetSuite, BPC and Salesforce. You'll be highly analytical, detail-focused, and confident working under pressure, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Previous experience within a software or SAAS or Fintech company is a must.
