About the Job
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving efficiencies across the business. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise and leadership skills.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the Head of Finance with financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
- Overseeing monthly financial closing and reporting
- Ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations and VAT filings
- Managing payroll processes, including statutory reporting and HMRC submissions
- Analysing financial data to provide key insights for business decision-making
- Assisting with year-end audits and preparing audit schedules
- Leading and mentoring a team of assistant accountants
About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with extensive experience in finance management. They will possess strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
