About the Job
In this role, you will support the Head of Billing and Credit Control by leading a medium-sized team to maximise cash collections and minimise financial risk.
 
Duties will include
  • Managing and optimising the team's performance
  • Conducting performance reviews, coaching, and providing feedback for professional growth
  • Minimising risk through effective collection and debt management
  • Analysing customer accounts for legal action suitability and managing the legal process
  • Coordinating with branches on legal cases and providing collection activity reports
  • Addressing escalated credit control issues and liaising with clients
  • Assisting with process improvements and preparing reports for management
About the Successful Applicant
  • Experience in management of litigation cases, and insolvency case management and able to demonstrate a background of working on cases involving receivership.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
  • At least 4 years of experience working in credit control
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • A full driving licence
  • Self-motivated, confident, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
