About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a small team and support the finance function. The successful candidate will ensure timely supplier payments, maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements within the Accounts Payable function.
Duties will include
- Managing and leading a small team
- Overseeing invoice processing and supplier payments, including inventory and non-inventory transactions
- Ensuring accuracy in supplier payments through validation and reconciliation processes
- Handling employee expenses and monthly supplier reconciliations
- Managing the Accounts Payable ledger and completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Driving process improvements to enhance scalability within the Accounts Payable function
About You
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within a start-up, scale-up, or fast-paced environment. Strong data analysis skills and Excel are essential, and familiarity with Xero would be beneficial. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
