Job Title: Accounts Assistant

About the Job:
In this role, you will support the Finance team with monthly management accounts, focusing on the Sales Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations. The company is experiencing growth, which is why the role has come about.
Duties will include:
- Posting monthly journals for payroll, depreciation, prepayments, and other adjustments
- Managing the Fixed Asset Register and associated schedules
- Supporting the production of management accounts for review
- Completing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assisting in preparing monthly Profit & Loss schedules
- Maintaining and organising the Month End folder
- Overseeing the Sales Ledger, raising invoices, and liaising with stakeholders
- Reporting on National Statistics when required
- Assisting with year-end account finalisation and inter-company transactions
- Preparing P11d and PSA submissions
- Covering for Accounts Payable as needed
About the Successful Applicant:
You will have experience in a similar accounts role, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong attention to detail. Organisational skills and time management are essential. Experience with Xero is beneficial but not mandatory.
