The Brief

The Process
Zoe took a detailed, 30-minute brief over the phone, gaining a better understanding of the nuances of the assignment and offering the opportunity for her to explain to the client what the current market was like.
She was able to discuss several pre-vetted candidates on the spot. To address the urgency, Zoe recommended a ‘working interview’ model, where a candidate begins work immediately, with the option for the client to pause or continue after the first day. Wade Macdonald would cover any costs for a non-suitable candidate, making it a risk-free option for the client.
The client trusted Zoe’s judgement, and a qualified candidate began the assignment the very next day. References had already been verified to ensure readiness.
The Result
The client was thrilled with the speed and quality of the service. Initially a 3½-month assignment, the candidate’s role was extended to support a new project based on their exceptional performance. This success led the client to bring on additional finance contingent workers through Wade Macdonald, extending the partnership to include HR placements as well.
